The Ed Hurless “Above and Beyond Award” $250*
All Crestview seniors are eligible. The “Above and Beyond Award.” will be presented to a senior who best exemplifies such identifying qualities as: respect for others, a caring attitude, acceptance of differing opinions and people, a well-rounded student. That senior, who does the little things to make the world a better place in a quiet unassuming way, will be selected by the high school faculty.

The CCF (Treasurer or President) must contact to school prior to the awards night to get the individuals name so that a check can be presented to the individual during the Awards Ceremony.
Elizabeth Freck Scholarship Fund: $1,000
The Elizabeth L. Freck Fund will be used for teaching education scholarships for Crestview students.

Gerald Etzler Scholarship Fund: $500
The Gerald Etzler Fund will be used for vocational education scholarships for Crestview students.

Stahl Stoller Meyer Insurance Center Loan Fund: $750
Stahl Stoller Meyer Insurance Center Scholarship Fund. This fund has been established to provide scholarships for the postgraduate education of deserving Crestview students.

The Aaron and Francile Sutton Fund: $1,000
The Aaron and Francile Sutton fund is to provide academic opportunities for students and teachers in the Crestview School District. Honor Student scholarships, research and teacher grants are available. A tertiary purpose of the fund will be to support educational programs in the communities of the Crestview School District.

Convoy Community Foundation Community Service Award: $500
The Fund is to provide a scholarship to graduating Crestview seniors who understand and demonstrate the importance of community service.

Pam Kulwicki Scholarship $500
The recipient of the Convoy Community Foundation Pam Kulwicki Scholarship will be selected by the senior Guidance Counselor.
“The senior must have the academic ability to be successful in their chosen field. (2yr or 4yr degree). The counselor will have knowledge of the student demonstrating a positive attitude reflecting a belief that you can get everything you want out of life, if you help enough other people get what they want. This belief put into action should positively impact the lives of the students and teachers the student has touched during their high school career.”
The counselor will cite examples of the students’ positive impact while attending Crestview High School in order to recognize that attitude and behavior at the scholarship presentation.
Profile will include major field of study, the institution of higher learning the recipient will attend, and the parents’ name. This scholarship is to be presented by the senior Guidance Counselor if agreeable and if not by the CCF scholarship presenter.
Linda Bower scholarship: (2) $1,000 scholarships based upon the committee members choice.
The scholarship is payable upon successful completion of the first semester/quarter at an accredited college or university.

Smart Family Scholarship

Bob & Carolyn Schumm Family Scholarship (new in 2019) $1,000
A single scholarship is to be awarded to a person entering either the Engineering or Medical Field. GPA/Rank not critical.
If there are no applicants in either field, then award it to an Applicant pursuing a 4 yr. degree in any major.
Warren & Marilyn Reed Scholarships two scholarships $1,000 each (new in 2020)
1. Student must demonstrate self-reliance. (Work outside the home. Paid or un paid, or work on the family farm) Work activities could make participation in school activities difficult, if not impossible. Therefore, participation in school activities not necessary.
2. Preference will be given to student pursuing a degree in Ag or Ag related majors.
3. May be awarded to seniors pursuing a 4 yr. degree in any field of study.
4. GPA/Rank important but not critical.
Bill and Eula Jerome Scholarship (new in 2020) $1000
Pursuing a 4-year degree as an Education Major
GPA/Rank important but not critical
Someone who needs the dollar funding
Otto and Clara Knerr Scholarship (new in 2021) $500
Farming-related field excluding those related to animals (i.e., plant/crop-related majors such as, but not limited to, farming, farm management, horticulture, agriculture engineering, agriculture research).
At least a B average throughout high school.
Preference will first go to female applicants if multiple applicants qualify.
If there is more than one qualified applicant, selection will be determined on a basis of financial need.
If there are no agricultural related applicants, then the scholarship is to be awarded for any curriculum to a female on the basis of most of financial need.
Trinity Lutheran Christian College Scholarship
Criteria is the applicant will be attending a Christian College as listed on the Attachment A of the Trinity Lutheran Scholarship Fund Donation Sheet document. Class Rank and GPA is not important. Applicant can be either male or female.
ALL Scholarships are to be awarded after the successful completion of the first semester/quarter of an accredited college or university as determined by the trustees of the Convoy Community Foundation.
* The Ed Hurless Award will be presented to the winner the day of the announcement. A Check will be given to the award winner the night of the Awards Ceremony.
